Anybody here actually worked for a theme park before? I spent ten years in the biz, hoping to make it a lifetime ordeal. Luckily, I'm guessing, things happened differently. Tell your gory guest services stories here!

Fri, March 26, 2004 - 9:15 PMHey Jason - did you know a guy by the name of Russ Snyder? He was a lead and worked on Great American Scream Machine. Good friend of mine from high school with lots of eerie stories about the place.
I worked for Six Flags at Magic Mountain for a year - it was wonderful - before they sort of lost their way. Best job I ever had was working at Knott's for four years. Food service blows, no matter how you slice it. Heh-heh...

Re: Theme park workers
Mon, January 24, 2005 - 1:27 PMI did 6 years at SFOG during high school and college. Still the coolest gig i ever did. Something about seeing folks smile after you scare the crap out of them. I often think where i'd be if i had stuck with it. Being a paramedic aint half as fun as all the free rides you can get the park....blessed be -
