Well, I finally got to ride Tomb Raider. For the wait I had (1 hour plus they shut it down for a "missing article check" under the ride for about another 1/2 hour), I though it was a disappointment. I found it a very rough and jerky ride - not at all like flying. The concept is neat and I liked the way they brought you to the top of the course but on the whole -- meh. There are better coasters at Canada's Wonderland (Vortex and the woodies come to mind).

I remeber that ride when they just built it at kings island and they were surveying people about what they thought of it. I likes it, it was raining that day so the park wasn't crowded at all and we didn't have to wait. would have been very disappointed has I waited more than a half hour for it though. If I remember correctly it was not a roller coaster as described?

Its awesome.. but its really a short ride and you wait in line for like 2 hours to ride for 5 mins. But if no one tells you about it.. it will be a great shock. It was funny cus we were talking to one of the workers and they announce "anyone who doesn't want to ride now can leave through this door" this kid in front of me got out of line and left.. the guy was like "in the control room upstairs it says whenever one of these doors open.. this one is labelled the chicken door"

Has anyone tried the new "Laura Croft:Tomb Raider" ride at Canada's Wonderland yet? You're lying down, head first, inverted coaster....I'm trying to plan a trip to Wonderland sometime this summer (prolly towards the end of July) and it's definitly on my 'hitlist'...just wondered if anyone else has experiences they want to recount about it before I go myself...
